As the largest Pet Care organisation in the UK we are involved primarily with the proper care of Pets and Property and we set the standards for the Pet and House sitting industries. We also represent our members at Local and National Government level, with particular interest in all legislation which affects the Petcare Industry and Animal Welfare in general.   Over the past 13 years we have registered more than 8,000 petsitters throughout the country. Members offer  a range of caring petsitting services while owners are away on holiday or at work etc.''

'' A member of The National Association of Petsitters has to provide at least two references on application from people who have known them for a minimum of two years, are not related and can vouch for their trustworthiness, reliability and ability to care for pets. Each member also has to provide proof of their experience of pet care with details of all the pets that they have owned or cared for over the years. Many members hold professional qualifications in their chosen fields of expertise and certainly all members are qualified if only through practical and often long term ownership. All members receive an induction visit from one of our Representatives in their own homes which not only gives them the opportunity to find out about being a National Petsitter, but also gives us the opportunity to approve their suitability at providing the services they offer. ''

The grooming is done outside your home or work place.The vans used are fully equipped with a warm water hydro-bath, grooming table and all the necessary equipment to give your dog the same bath , blow-dry and cut they would get if you left him at a grooming shop.

When the groomer comes to you it is a totally different experience for the dog. No more leaving the dog at a shop for several hours stuck in a cage and surrounded by noises and other barking dogs.

In the winter months the vans are heated to keep your dog warm.

The convenience for the dog owner is substantial. Not only is this a huge time saver for the owners but also the stress of grooming for the dog is greatly reduced.
